Headlice : Are You Prone To Lice?

Lice related problems are very common these days. Most of the women are susceptible to lice related problems. Before we start discussing the methods to prevent the occurrence of lice, let us first understand what does the term 'lice" mean. In medical terns, "headlice" are parasites which dwell in our hair and other parts of our bodies.

In general, one can find lice in the hair of human beings. Women (having long hair) tend to suffer more with the problems related to lice. If you think that washing your hair a few times with a normal shampoo can help you get rid of lice, then you are mistaken as dealing with "headlice" is not that easy an affair.

Lice multiply very quickly and soon become a very large infestation. Itching is the first symptom that people notice when they have lice in the hair. If you should ever contract headlice, an effective cure can be obtained by mixing and lavender oil and lemon extract.
